The rice Grains are selected based on 7 important criteria
- The whiteness of the chosen Rice Grain has to be chosen keeping in mind the gel colour you have chosen
- They should be free from any cracks or fault lines
- They should be of uniform colour and whiteness
- They should be of uniform diameter
- They should be mature and supple, not fresh and brittle
- They should be Organic
- They should be of just the right transparency
The Rice grains are washed and treated with a special solution to remove any virus and pathogens
A first-cut of the chosen design or text is painted on the Grain using a fine brush
The painting is sent for quality control, where it is subjected to 12 quality control checks;
- Clarity and legibility
- Proof Reading
- Brittleness
- Ink Uniformity
- Ink Quality
- Loose Brush Hair
- Unwanted Brush Streaks
- Any Surface Impurity
- Ink Smudges
- Ink Contrast
- Ink mixing (Incase of more than one Ink colour)
The design or text is finalised and fixed by Ultra-Violet Light
The Finished Grain is painted with a weather resistant coat and immersed in the bead or vial
The Vial or bead is capped and subjected to further 8 Quality checks
- Surface Scratches
- Liquid colour uniformity
- Liquid thickness uniformity
- Cap tightness
- Temperature variance from 0 Degree to 75 Degree celsius
- Unwanted Large Bubbles
- Size uniformity
- Liquid clarity
The gift is then re-polished, packed labelled and ready to go.
